This exceptional natural coffee comes to us through JNP Coffee, a company focused on supporting women coffee producers in Burundi through education, quality incentives, and community development. This lot was produced by Bavyevi, a women-owned group in Ngozi whose name means “parents” in Kirundi, honoring generations of coffee growers before them.
Natural coffees in Ngozi are not easy to produce. They require regular turning of the coffee throughout the process which often takes 45-60 days. The immense effort put into this coffee clearly shines through in the incredibly layered and nuanced cup.
