Coffee Overview
This is our first Ethiopian coffee of the year and we're pretty enthused about it! This coffee comes from a washing station located near Goro village in the Uraga region of Ethiopia. This site is one of multiple managed by Mr. Habtamu Fikadu.
This coffee was wash processed and dried on raised African beds for 8-12 days.
Flavor Profile
Lemon-Lime, Mixed Berries, Florals
This coffee is a really nice and juicy washed Ethiopian. It is delicate and tea like in body but also has a super nice mouth-watering acidity. Mixed berry flavors and a background florality provide depth and complexity to the cup.
Roast Profile
Light
After quite a few iterations we settled on a roast that is quite fast for our roaster. We feel like this profile accentuates the florals as best we can with the machine that we have. This coffee is quite light but reasonably soluble.
Rest Time
Best brewed 3-6 weeks off roast.
